Who is allowed to request this kind of visits?
Only Official Schools are allowed, either Spanish of International Schools, and only for Students up to 13 years old (13 is included). Requests must include an official mail.
Is it possible to request a date by telephone?
No, it is not possible by phone. It is only possible online, indicating an official mail.
May Universities, Language Centers, etc. request these visits?
No, it is not possible. In these cases, reservations must be made directly on our official site: www.alcazarsevilla.org, and pay the entrance like the rest of visitors.
Is it possible to request a visit with a personal mail?
No, it is not possible. Only official mails from the School are allowed.
Is it possible to request a visit by a Travel Agency or any other kind of middleman?
No, it is not possible. Always DIRECTLY with the School.
Is it mandatory to indicate the age of the students on the request?
Yes, it is very important, since this reservations are only for students up to 13 years old (13 included).
With what advance is it necessary to request these visits?
Requests must be made at least 3 weeks in advance.
How many people can be included in the same group?
Up to 50 people (including teachers and students).
What should we do if our group is more than 50 people and we want to go together?
In that case you should request 2 groups one after the other on the same day. Groups are allowed to enter every half an hour.
If this is not possible (occupied), you will have to choose different days and separate the groups.
Visits are guided?
No, we do not have guided tours. If you wish, you may bring your official guide or teachers are also allowed to guide the tour.
Is the visit reserved automatically on making the request on the web?
No, it is not. You will receive a mail from the Actividades Office including an “Authorization”. This is the confirmation of your reservation and you must bring it with you the day of your visit.
When will I receive the confirmation of my reservation by mail?
It depends on the number of requests we receive, but usually within 2-3 days
At what time is the first visit for these Official Schools possible?
At 10.00 a.m., every thirty minutes.
What happens if I have a visit confirmed but finally I will not be able to go?
In this case you must request BY MAIL the cancellation of your visit. If you want to come another day, you must send A NEW REQUEST on our site, with the same process, and again at least 3 weeks in advance.
Is it possible to cancel a visit by phone?
No, it is not possible. Only by mail.
What happens if the day or the hour I want is not available on the schedule?
Logically, in that case it is not possible to request that day or hour. You will have to choose among the available visits on the schedule.
What is the duration of the visit?
The whole visit takes between one and two hours. But you are allowed to be inside until the monument is closed.
What happens if we arrive late?
The entrance for these visits is usually closed, it is only open when there is a group coming. This means that, in case of exceptional circumstances that will cause you to be late, you must phone as soon as possible, so that we can try to organize your entrance.
