Patio de las Muñecas – Dolls Courtyard
Este pequeño patio estaba destinado a organizar las estancias de la zona privada del pa- lacio. Debe su nombre a las cabezas que decoran los arranques del arco más próximo al vestíbulo.
Las columnas y los capiteles son de acarreo, califales y romanos, de gran belleza.
Las dos plantas superiores son del siglo XIX. Las habitaciones domésticas en torno a este patio, fueron intensamente remodeladas en época de los Reyes Católicos.
This small courtyard was designed to organize the rooms of the Palace private area.
It owes its name to the doll heads that decorate the starts of the arc closest to the lobby. The beautiful columns and capitals, are of Caliphal and Roman origin. The upper two ßoors were built during the nineteenth century. The domestic rooms around this courtyard, were completely remodeled during the Catholic Monarchs reign.
